Help for Teachers

Becoming a teacher

Teacher access is approved and verified by the platform.

  • Create a Fluinto account.
  • Submit your details for review by the team.
  • Your teacher profile must be verified and active before teaching.

How students arrive to you (language → teacher → chat → payment)

Students follow a fixed flow before they can book a session.

  • Students select a learning language first.
  • They choose a teacher for that language.
  • Chat unlocks after teacher selection, before payment.
  • Payment and access are checked automatically at booking time.
  • If a student can book your session, they already have access.
  • Teachers do not manage payments or approve bookings.

Teaching model (group lessons & continuity)

The platform enforces consistency for better learning outcomes.

  • Group lessons are the primary teaching model.
  • Students are locked to one active teacher per language for a 30-day lock period.
  • The lock period is intentional and enforced by the platform.
  • 1:1 sessions are scheduled separately from group lessons.

Stripe payout onboarding

Stripe is required to receive payouts.

  • Complete onboarding in the Stripe Payout Onboarding page.
  • Stripe collects payout and verification details.
  • Fluinto does not hold or process your payout funds.

Monthly payouts (Stripe-handled)

Stripe handles payouts once your account is connected.

  • Payouts are issued monthly for eligible sessions.
  • Stripe handles transfers to your payout account.
  • Your payout setup status is shown in the Teacher Dashboard.
  • Check Stripe for transfer timing and payout status.

Referrals (students invited by teacher)

Referred students still follow the standard onboarding flow.

  • If you invite students to Fluinto, they still select a language and teacher.
  • Referred students can join your group lessons after selecting you and gaining access.
  • You do not manage payment or booking approval for referred students.
